With the chair design, hair, and everything it has this kind of retro feel which is just... nifty. Plus, those kitty cats are adorable, especially the one next to her hand. So cute. Was the retro feel intentional?

Now is this for that unspoken book or just for your portfolio? I really like the simple lines and the continuation of color throughout the design. Simple and refreshing.

There was a store in my childhood that had furniture that was both futuristic and girly at the same time. I miss that place.

haha yeah, its a bit of that retro yet contemporary style~ I really enjoy Herman miller, Kartell, and other old school yet still VERY modern and hip designers when it comes to furniture....hopefully I can do a few more pieces like this, hehe.

This is another possible piece for the unspoken book, but also for my portfolio. To be honest, I was thinking more about my portfolio when I did this, but I will share it with the publishers just in case they want it ;) I am trying to kill two birds with one stone this week~ expand that standard illustration portfolio and fix up more pieces for the book! haha
