Hey guys, I think DA has enough reports right now...since I assume a lot of you reported every one that was posted, so dont bother reporting these anymore I think. DA pulled down a piece or two last night, I feel a LOT better now that I see they did something, So lets just sit still and wait

Also, I know some of you are very mad, but its best to leave constructive (but firm) comments if you are going to leave them, not ZOMG DIE *stabs with spork*

and if the ripper is still reading this (im sure she is), just pull down your traces and I'll totally trash this journal so its gone for good... I said that many times. If she had just removed everything PROMPTLY and not left them up just to SPITE people for 3 days (because thats totally what happened) it would not have dragged on the drama and I would have trashed the journal before it got crazy.

again, Im over it x2 now that DA DID jump in to pull something and my work is down. I got in an art tizzy the other night when I posted, but I was more upset at the thought of tracing being ok here~ but now that the staff pulled things I feel better and done with this annoying ordeal. I hope some of you feel better as well knowing that at least something started to get done...right?

Since people are still using this journal as ref for the rips I will keep it up, but Im pretty much done updating this list (unless its a new art book trace) Because the pieces concerning me have been pulled, so its up to the other artist(s) if they wish to keep pressing on this matter to get the art she traced off them removed I'll trash the whole journal once the listed pieces are pulled I guess, since it would be old news and I would not want to stir up old shit after everything is gone.

all and all its just too annoying and blatant not to share. There are so many talented artists on DA, people that do cheap tricks and suck off others ideas and hard work don't deserve to be watched.

If you think I'm a bitch, I'm sorry but I work too hard at what I do to excuse some cases of this, she sold remakes of my gallery canvas pieces for money and gave no credit to me or any other artists she ripped. I am all for being "inspired" by artists you like, or trying to draw fanart, OR even copying a piece someone did for practice if you are young, but those are all harmless things~ and this young woman did them for profit and praise as an artist. not cool.

You should never trace another art piece. PERIOD.
You could (if you are young and its not for profit) reference an art piece for a pose, but you should be careful and respectful of how well you reference it, remember everyone has a different approach to anatomy and style.

If you need to reference poses its best to work from a photo OR take your own photo reference if you are having a hard time and tracing would make life easier. I will take photo reference of my arms or hands sometimes to use. There is nothing wrong with tracing over reference IF YOU TOOK IT AND ITS YOURS TO TRACE easy!
